Vishwaroopam from January 11th

Kamal Hassan's Vishwaroopam has been confirmed to release at the start of next year during the Pongal reason. Official reports have confirmed that the film will be hitting the screens from the 11th of January. Earlier reports have indicated that the movie will go out in 3000 screens across the globe with Auro 3D technology.

Vishwaroopam appears to be Kamal Hassan's most magnificent project and has been postponed several times in the last six months. However, in recent weeks, the audio launch of the film has been much under speculation after the track list was released online. Now, it appears that the audio launch will happen in the next few days making room for promotions over the next month. Meanwhile, the other films releasing this Pongal, Alex Pandian, Aadhibhagavan and Madha Gaja Raja will face stiff competition. We might even see one of them pull out of the race.

Andrea's director confirms IG report

A few days back IndiaGlitz carried a snippet that Andrea Jeremia would play a nude model in 'Endrendrum Punnagai', but there would be nothing vulgar about the scenes involving her.

Ahmed, who is directing the film, has now said that the actress would be "wearing a nude colour costume for a modelling scene' in 'Endrendrum Punnagai'.

He also added that this could not be considered as going nude for the role and they are planning to get a U certificate for the film, from the Censor Board.

Starring Jiiva, Trisha, Vinay and Andrea in lead roles, 'Endrendrum Punnagai' is taking shape fast. Set in urban background, the film is touted as a rom-com.

BlueSky Cinemas, one of the leading players in overseas market bagged complete overseas (all countries expect India) theatrical and DVD rights of RAVI TEJA'S full length romantic entertainer SAROCHARU. This movie is produced by Priyanka dutt and presented by VYJAYANTHI banner and directed by Parasuram.

RAVI TEJA essays the role of a Football Coach in this movie. The film was shot in exotic places of Italy and Switzerland. Sizzling beauties Kajal Agarwal and Richa gangopadhyay playing the female leads.NARA ROHIT played a special role in this movie. Sonu Sood played a powerful role in this movie.

Viswaroopam to release on Jan 11

It was supposed to hit the screens on I-Day.  It will finally hit the marquee for the festive season in January, 2013.  Viswaroopam, Kamal Hassan's magnum opus, will release on Jan 11.

This film of 'Ulaga Nayagan' (Universal Star for Telugu audience) will be equipped with Auro 3D, for the first time in India.  A unique format, Auro 3D will enhance the experience of watching a movie to a new level, it is said. George Lucas' 'Red Tails' is the only movie which has made use of the technique so far.

"Kamal is happy to present this new format to Indian cinema. He is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that Viswaroopam turns to be a nail-biting entertainer," sources said.

Produced by Raj Kamal International in association with PVP Cinema, 'Viswaroopam' is directed by Kamal himself. Pooja Kumar and Andrea Jeremiah are the two leading ladies of this movie.

'Genius cost Rs. 12 cr, will be a trend-setter'

Dasari Kiran, who has been into real estate business, was inspired to produce Genius when he heard Chinni Krishna's story.  Initially the estimate was Rs. 6 cr but being confident about the subject, he went on to splurge Rs. 12 cr.

"This will be a trend-setter.  Genius will be this year's best film.  What Khaidi was for Chiranjeevi, what Shiva was for Nag and what Aadi was for NTR, this film will be of that importance for Havish.  Though he is a newcomer, Omkar (Director) worked very hard for 11 months," he said.

He said that Chinni Krishna was like a Shankar.  "After Narasimha, Narasimha Naidu, Indra, Gangotri and Bandrinath, he has written an amazing story.  Paruchuri Brothers, who have written for 315 films, have written excellent dialogues.  Vissu's screenplay is another big highlight," he said.

The film is sold out, except the Nizam area rights, which will be clinched soon.  "We will release Genius on December 21," he said.

 

Chota K Naidu's unforgettable moment

As the Director of Photography for Damarukam, Chota K Naidu has showed his knack yet again.  Speaking at the success meet of this latest blockbuster, he said that he was congratulated personally by Dasari Narayana Rao.

"I worked with Dasari garu for seven years.  He would always say that my work was good.  He would not say more.  However, after watching Damarukam, he invited me to his house, arranged a dinner party for me, and appreciated my work, saying that the photography for Damarukam was excellent.  I will never forget that moment," he said.

He described Anushka as a golden actress.
